The Alaska State Sacred Harp Convention is held annually in Sitka, Alaska in October. This two-day event draws singers from across Alaska, the Pacific Northwest and the world. In addition to the great singing, singers enjoy local food, whale-watching and exploring historic, beautiful Sitka. The dates for the 9th Annual Convention are October 21-22, 2016.
